  • Community Encounter Beyond, OM Lifehope

    Start Date: August 2009
    Commitment Length: 1-2 years

If you are keen to tell others about the love of Jesus then OM Lifehope has opportunities for you to develop and use your gifts in ministry. Come to the UK, a culturally diverse and fascinating country.

The UK presents one of the greatest challenges in Europe, as an increasingly secular and multicultural nation, a post-Christian country.

We need people to train to reach out to children, youth, students, adults, the elderly and various ethnic groups. We partner with missions-minded local churches who need help in spreading the gospel to their communities.

You could be engaged in community, street and creative evangelism. Reach out to Secular British, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Chinese or Sikh people. Engage with people from all over the world and with many different beliefs.

You will take part in our “Toolkit” induction training, an adventure week, discipleship and leadership training and, if you come for at least a year, a sailing week.

  • Community Encounter Plus, OM Lifehope

    Start Date: August 2009
    Commitment Length: 6-12 months

Give 6 months of your life to deepen your faith and learn how to effectively share the gospel. We will train and equip you to tell people about Jesus. Following our "Toolkit" induction training you will join an international team, working closely with a local church to reach out to their community. You will share the love of Christ through friendships, serving people and giving opportunities for them to hear the gospel.

The UK is a culturally diverse country giving you the chance to reach out to people from many different faith and secular backgrounds.

An adventure week is part of the team building and leadership development. During your time with us you will impact the lives of children and youth, plus people from all over the world who live in the UK.

“My time at Lifehope changed my thinking and my whole approach to people and to life. I myself have changed as well. It was an amazing time that I'm really thankful for" (Gila, Germany, 2008)
