Who holds it all together?

Often unnoticed, their work is unglamorous and sometimes routine, but without the VITAL SUPPORT SERVICES, OM Lifehope's front line evangelism and discipleship training would not be possible. We are always seeking extra people and invariably have some urgent staff vacancies to be filled, which you can find under the top menu Join Us, the section called Job Opportunities.

Administration:

Run the reception desk, mail letters, answer the telephone, respond to emails, order stationery, provide support to the OM Lifehope leaders, trainers and evangelists - admin staff provide the essential, bread-and-butter services that ensure OM Lifehope's  ministries can run smoothly.

Finance:

Handle OM Lifehope's budgets, accounts and day-to-day cash flow. It takes faith to work in finance, especially when money is tight.

Computers:

With 35 computer terminals in the centre , systems support is vital. Expert advice and help can make all the difference when computers break down!

Household and Maintenance:

Take care of the Training Centre and OM Lifehope's fleet of vehicles is a full-time job - cleaning, hospitality, repairs, plumbing, decorating, mechanics, carpentry and much more…

Catering:

It is not an easy task to feed an international group of people who have a wide variety of tastes and needs. The kitchen caters for up to 30 people a day. We are very dependent on volunteers to cook and help out.

Personnel and Member Care:

Recruit new people from all over the world, for evangelism opportunities and specific roles in OM Lifehope. Responsible for all practical aspects from their initial inquiries right through to their departure once they have finished their time with us. We provide a listening ear, encouragement and support, plus arrange counseling if needed. Community events are planned throughout the year for fellowship and relaxation.

Housing:

Arrange rented accommodation for those living outside the training centre for teams of single people, plus couples and families. It can take weeks to find the right home and to provide all the necessary furniture. On-going support is often needed for repairs and maintenance.

Communications:

Support OM Lifehope teams in sharing their ministry with churches around the world. They offer services such as: writing prayer reports, graphic design and layout, developing and maintaining the OM Lifehope web site, publicity materials and much, much more.

Marketing and Promotion:

Share about OM Lifehope's ministries in churches in the UK and promote our opportunities throughout the world through OM’s national offices. Generate financial and prayer support.
