 Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar square, The Tower of London, these are all places in London, which in is in England. Another place that is also located in England is where I have spent the last three months. It is the OM Lifehope Training Centre. It is located in a little village called Halesowen (just outside of Birmingham).
My name is Jen MacDougall, from Canada and I have been working on their Kids ‘n’ Things Team. We work with different schools and do assemblies with puppets, funky songs and a Gospel message! In the summer we do holiday clubs with different churches in different areas!
I also lived in Smethwick with a team made up of 6 international individuals. It was such a great experience to learn about different cultures and working through different issues and making decisions. It was a lot of work but so much fun and I learned a lot.
When I went to England I had the mindset that I am doing my missions trip and then I will be done with my obligations and I can go and work the rest of my life. God of course had a different plan for my life. He wants me to be more involved in missions and make it apart of my life.
God works in amazing ways. He has shown himself to me so many times. He has proven on multiple occasions that he is a faithful and just God. I would like to encourage you to step out of your comfort zones and go on a mission’s trip it will change your life and be such an amazing opportunity.
